The Husband (also known as The Fulfillment of Marriage) is a 2026 South Korean thriller romance drama. It follows Kang Tae-ju (Namkoong Min), a neurosurgeon who asks for a divorce from his wife, Ko Se-yun (Lee Seol). The next day, she is kidnapped, making him the prime suspect. He must race to rescue her and clear his name.

Namkoong Min is on fine form as the quiet doctor who can’t stand his living arrangements anymore and Lee Seol crackles as the, seemingly unfair, wife that wants to make him suffer for something that happened in the past.
Whilst Agent Kim Re-activated has been the one to watch, expect The Husband to give it some competition. Both exciting action thrillers, one with a romantic vibe and the other with some comedy.
Having been in the Kim Re-activated camp, the first few episodes of The Husband have me hooked even more.
