From the first to the last episode this series deals with demanding situations in a light-hearted but compelling way.
You are my destiny (2014) which starred Choi Jin Hyuk as the second lead and was on the same theme, handled the situation in a very different way. You have to wonder if Jin Hyuk was thought of because of that series. A series that was at times, brilliant with both comedy, drama and acting. There is even a press scene that echoes the one in Positively Yours.

A romance that begins with a one-night stand between a man and a woman who both vowed never to get married in this lifetime. Kang Du Jun, a seemingly perfect second-generation chaebol from head to toe. Having decided that marriage was not in the cards for this life, he lives for his remaining family and company in place of his deceased older brother. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he becomes entangled with Jang Hui Won after a wild one-night fling. Jang Hui Won, a career woman who scores 100 in work but 0 in romance. Scarred by her parents’ divorce and a harsh upbringing under a cold, critical mother, she has shut herself off from the idea of marriage and embraced singlehood by choice. But her carefully structured life faces an unforeseen twist following that one impulsive night.
Deserving better ratings than it received so far, the series is bound to gather momentum on International streaming and benefits from playing ‘in the middle’. Nothing too dramatic but overall an entertaining and undemanding binge watch.
All the lead players are watchable, particularly Choi Yeon Seo with excellent supporting cast.
Well worth a watch.
